  • “Nice place to stay but A/C needs work”

Phuket Sea Resort met my expectations. It's a nice hotel, clean, modern and has two swimming pools. We had the suite which offered a separate living room from the bedroom. The breakfast buffet in the morning was well stocked and included in the price of the room.

Proximity wise, it's close to restaurants and bars. Walk outside the hotel and you're a stones throw from the pier which offers great, fresh, local seafood. There are lots of good restaurants along the main road, all within easy walking distance.

The value for the money is good at this hotel. The only complaint I have is the A/C in the bedroom is wall-mounted and is blowing right at the bed which caused me to get congested after a couple of days. Other than that, no complaints, great place to stay.

With my husband we spent 7 days in this hotel and we really appreciate our stay. When we arrived the cleanliness was not very good but after asking the reception, housekeeping did the necessary. It's a real quiet place, with 2 big swimming pools. Well situated in the town, many restaurants all around We also appreciate the breakfast good, rich and varied and Pleasant staff; Good value for money

Room Tip: We really appreciate a bungalow instead of rooms.

  • “Phuket Sea Resort - Great Christmas Break”

We booked four nights here including Christmas day during our three week Thailand trip as we wanted some quiet time over the Christmas period.
We found the hotel staff to be friendly and helpful - even changing our room from a double to a twin without hesitation. The rooms were large and clean with all the necessary facililties.
The pools are large and during our stay only one was in use at a time whilst they were undergoing a cleaning treatment. The hotel is opposite the ocean and Rawai beach, although you cannot bathe on Rawai beach. The hotel runs a free bus service to a nearby beach but you need to make your own way back in a taxi. There are no metered taxis at the beach but you can barter with the taxis to get a fairly low price. I think we paid 300 THB
There is a great bar next door to the hotel called Bentleys where the staff and regulars are very friendly. If you are male and don't want to be propositioned then its best to go in with a female. There are plenty of restaurants along the main road and you can take a taxi boat over to Coral Island for a few hours. If you go after 1pm you can get a lower price.

  • “Perfect location at a small Thai village”

Location- very close to the sea and to many local restaurants, very nice pool, breakfast availability In general it was really pleasant. We were all surprised how close it is to all local restaurants and the sea where you can rent a boat to the near small islands (contrary to the other consumers' revisions). Everything else was exactly as it was described- very nice pool, good breakfast, two supermarkets on both side of the hotel entrance, many local cheap restaurants just a 100m away from the hotel. Things that can be improved: - staff is not as friendly as you expect Thai people to be (we have complaints to the manager- a man who was extremely rude when we were leaving the hotel) - their English could be improved; - all facilities are rather old and they can be better maintained; - there is no "spirit" at the hotel's bar (or in the hotel at all)- if there was some nice music, it could for sure change the whole impression for the hotel. The atmosphere was like the hotel was abondened. As a conclusion- if the hotel staff and the hygiene in the hotel were slightly better, the hotel would have received the highest score from me.
